Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst with experience in software product development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving the full lifecycle of software product features from requirements gathering to development, testing, and deployment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality, user-focused software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

Engage with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements for software product features.

Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and user stories.

Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to ensure comprehensive understanding of stakeholder needs.
Solution Design & Documentation:

Collaborate with product managers and architects to design solutions that align with business goals and technical feasibility.

Create detailed documentation, including process flows, wireframes, use cases, and functional specifications.

Ensure requirements are traceable and align with project objectives throughout the development lifecycle.
Development Support:

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities during the development process.

Review and validate technical designs to ensure they meet business requirements.
Testing & Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with QA teams to define test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on requirements.

Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that delivered features meet business expectations.

Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Stakeholder Communication & Training:

Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and outcomes.

Facilitate training sessions or create user guides to support end-users in adopting new features.

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across teams.
Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies for requirements gathering, development, and testing.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business analysis and software development.
Experience:
-
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in software product development.

Proven experience working on the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.

Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies (e.g., APIs, databases, cloud platforms).

Proficiency in creating process diagrams, wireframes, and mockups using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Balsamiq.

Familiarity with SQL for data analysis and querying is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to break down complex requirements.

Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality documentation and outcomes.
